Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise
Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise was a band that formed in Detroit in 1994 around a blind street musician named….Robert Bradley. Bradley was born in 1950. He attended the Alabama School for the Blind and found his way playing the streets, churches and coffeehouses of Detroit. The band became popular in the 90s and I remember even seeing them on MTV’s TRL Live. An interesting update on the roving blues musician sound.
